No you do not need a motorcycle license. but you must have a current, valid U.S. or State or International drivers license. You must also be at least 25 years of age.

In Texas, the SlingShot is classified as an “Auto-Cycle” and does not require a helmet. All you need is a regular vehicle driver’s license to operate a SlingShot. We do have helmets available upon request

YES. Full coverage insurance is REQUIRED for all SlingShot rentals. You must be 25 years or older. If you do not have full coverage insurance we can provide for an additional $35 – $50 depending on age. All damages to our SlingShot must be fully paid out of pocket by the renter. (Renter is also financially liable for all tow expenses involved to get the SlingShot to our repair center.) Must have a valid drivers license

You must leave a $1000 refundable deposit. Although ENA Slingshot rental Houston releases hold for the security deposit on credit cards and debit cards immediately after returning the SlingShot with no damages. Your bank or credit card company may take up 3-7 business days to release the hold off of your card.

You agree not to allow anyone other than yourself or other authorized renters under your rental agreement to operate your rental slingShot.

All of SlingShot’s require to be refilled with 91 Octane Premium Gasoline. (Receipts must be provided to show proof of the correct fuel type at the time of return/drop off)
